Cirko-vélo

Reaching youth where they are

Cirko-vélo activities aim to provide front-line intervention for youth experiencing homelessness.

This ambulatory program also seeks to promote better social coexistence in spaces where there are tensions between residents, businesses and marginalized people.

A team consisting of a social worker and a circus instructor goes out to connect with more isolated populations. Relationships are built with respect for the needs and the pace of the individuals encountered.

Carrying circus equipment, the Ciko-vélo team offers the opportunity to practice circus techniques and to experience our approach right in the heart of the community, thereby reinforcing social cohesion.

Summer or winter, our team works closely with our partners.

Thanks to this ambulatory program, Cirque Hors Piste frequently visits partner organizations, allowing us to meet young people directly in their environment, connect with them, and introduce them to all our activities.

Cirko-vélo workshops in public spaces carry on throughout the year, regardless of the season. The consistent presence of our team in the streets has a direct impact on the participation of young people in our Social Circus Workshops.
