I knew what circus was. When I was in a youth centre, a man from Cirque du Soleil came to do some workshops and I really enjoyed it.

With Cirque Hors Piste, I just finished my fourth Collective Creation. It gets me moving because I’m not really into other sports.

In the circus, you go at your own pace. I can step out of my house, get out of my comfort zone. You see all the diversity of the world, and it makes you want to travel. People don't judge me, they are not just there to observe me.

When I felt down, I learned to express it: "I don't like this”. I learned to name things at the circus.
